Western Standard Editorial Contest

When the second annual Western Standard editorial contest closed Oct. 31, we were again buried under a mountain of entries, more than 60 of which were clearly in the “publishable” category. Only one entry could be judged the best; but all of the entrants should consider trying again next year. Our second place winner, Dr. Michael Reinhard of Jackson, Miss., will receive a Western Standard gift pack, and third-place Robert Holmes of Richmond Hill, Ont., will receive a WS pin. First-place winner physician Michael A. Platonov of Calgary won the grand prize of $1,000.
