Michael Moore mocks Canadian soldier after election debate
While visiting Canada to shoot footage for his new movie, American filmmaker Michael Moore took the occasion of an all-candidates debate in Sault Ste. Marie to insult a Canadian soldier.

No man deserves the title coward who risks his life in a combat zone to save that of a suicidal teenager.
This is just one example of Ross’s heroism while in combat, shared off-the-record by another soldier.
Perhaps Michael Moore ought to think about this the next time he goes bowling for sound bites in Northern Ontario.
For the contrast between the two men is striking.
Michael Moore, a film-director, has made millions embarrassing his own country; Ross, a soldier, has risked his life and forfeited many luxuries in the service of his country.
Without Ross’s hunger, Moore would have no freedom to insult him.
